We’re
builders.

BLDHRD began when a few friends from LaVisual and GeekOffice decided to combine their strengths. Over the past few decades, we’ve built a lot of things for a lot of companies, big and small. We’ve done a lot of design, and we’ve shipped a lot of code. It can be oddly challenging to communicate that we can do both, and do it really well.

Designers that can code? Coders that can design? Impossible. Let’s do this.

We’ve been building things since most people paid for the internet by the minute. Rather than a lot of buzzwords or nonsense, we’re gonna give it to you straight.

We build stuff. We work hard.

If you’re like us and want to build cool things for real people, we’d love to talk.

Process

How the sausage is made...

Discovery

It starts with a call. From there, we dig into your audience, goals, and competition. We analyze the data to spot white space, then build a plan to fill it.

01

Design

Visuals, product, UX, UI, systems, architecture. We explore, iterate, and narrow down to three strong directions. Then we present, refine, and finalize.

02

Build

Everything gets rebuilt at least once. Those who ship know. We plan for proof of concept, alpha, beta, and MVP, because iteration is how you get it right.

03

Hand-off

We can maintain it or hand it off cleanly. Every feature, function, and detail is documented and supported. Whatever the next phase, we’re ready for it.

04

Proof

Trusted by people who get it.

"They pulled off something special on a really tight timeline. The experience looked great, fans loved it, and it made a real impact for us."

Services

Work that ships. Work that lasts.

Design

Branding and identity, product, service, UX, UI, interactive, technology systems and architecture, print and packaging, 2D/3D, motion, games, and more.

Development

Mobile, desktop, web, hybrid-native, utility and productivity, entertainment, SMB and enterprise, data security, regulatory compliance, you name it.

AI Integration

To us, AI is another tool in the box. For years we’ve been integrating and using the latest AI tools to assist in research, ideation, and production.

Consulting

Need a design/dev nerd to hop in and get to work? We’re as comfortable presenting to board members as leading a team, or designing/building for prod.

Pricing

We work mostly with startups, medium-size businesses, and side projects for large brands. Projects typically range from $20k to $500k and last two to eighteen months. The following are general estimates to give you an idea.

Small

$10-25k

Smaller projects, like custom landing pages, smaller product or brand identity design, a quick POC or prototype, projects that require a single part time developer or designer, and/or a few hours a week of principal consulting.

Medium

$25-50k

Medium-size projects like a multi-page corporate website, a full brand identity with usage guidelines, a basic mobile app, more advanced interactions or 2D/3D animations, etc. These things may require multiple designers or devs and additional principal consultion time.

Large

$50-150k+

Large projects that require a full team of designers, devs, and leadership. Things like enterprise applications, large ecommerce websites, custom integrations, large corporate rebrand projects for big teams with lots of touch points to design and build out.
