The ask
Elation makes stage and broadcast lighting under a stack of product brands: Paragon, Proteus, Fuze, Rebel, KL, Pulse, SŌL, Magmatic, and Obsidian control systems. Each line had grown its own look. For a global campaign and the LDI 2024 trade show, Elation needed them to read as one family without sanding off what made each one distinct.
What we built
- A brand architecture. One shared frame (layout, navigation, type scale, the Elation mark) that each product line plugs into with its own typeface, color, and motion.
- Nine product landing pages, each with its own hero animation, scroll-driven video, feature sections, and product lineup.
- An explore page where every series is a 3D planet orbiting in a galaxy. Spline scenes, wired together with custom JavaScript.
- Campaign plumbing: lead forms that capture region and source, and outbound links tagged per page, so Elation could see which page and region every lead came from.
The hard part
Fifteen live 3D scenes on one page. Every planet is its own Spline scene, plus the galaxy behind them, and browsers start dropping WebGL contexts at around sixteen. Before loading any 3D, the page checks the GPU, memory, CPU cores, and connection speed. Phones, tablets, and weaker machines get a lighter version without the live 3D.

Result
The site ran on iPads at Elation’s booth at LDI 2024, where visitors could explore the whole lineup. Paragon, the series the campaign launched, won Best Debuting Product at the show.

Nine identities, one frame. Each page keeps the shared navigation and structure; type, color, and motion belong to the product.
